California-based EV startup Bingo has entered Kenya with its E2 electric vehicle, targeting ride-hailing and last-mile delivery operators. The car uses a dual-battery system offering up to 440km range and will be supported by battery-swapping stations and DC fast chargers.

Bingo plans local assembly in Nairobi from December, starting with 100 units, targeting 1,500 sales in 2027 and 10,000 EVs on Kenyan roads by end of 2028, said co-founder Christian Scheder.
