The Higher Education Loans Board has opened applications for first-time undergraduate and TVET students seeking loans, scholarships and bursaries for the 2026/2027 academic year, with a deadline of September 8, 2026.

HELB has advised applicants to submit at least one month before their reporting date to allow sufficient processing time. Continuing students may apply separately via USSD *642#.
