Are you a young innovator, researcher, startup founder, or project lead working to improve mental health and Primary Health Care in Africa?
The GHAYIB 2026 competition is now accepting applications for innovative solutions and research that can help make mental health services more accessible, equitable, and effective across Africa.
🔹 Two Tracks Available
1️⃣ Technological Innovations
For startups and teams developing solutions such as:
• AI-powered health and screening platforms
• Tele-counselling solutions
• Connected medical devices
• Digital tools for community health workers and Primary Health Care
2️⃣ Scientific Research
For young researchers working on:
• Mental health research
• Epidemiological and clinical studies
• Operational research
• Evidence that can inform health policies and improve Primary Health Care
🏆 US$10,000 Total Prize Pool
🥇 1st Prize — US$5,000 + exclusive mentoring & Galien Africa network access
🥈 2nd Prize — US$3,000 + investor introductions
🥉 3rd Prize — US$2,000 + coaching & visibility
All six finalists will also participate in a Speed Mentoring session in Dakar.
