The AfCFTA Digital Innovation Challenge is Officially Open
The AfCFTA Digital Innovation Challenge (2nd Edition) is officially open for applications!
About This Challenge: This is a competition looking for digital tools, apps, or platforms that make it easier for small businesses (MSMEs) across Africa to trade with each other. Think apps that help a fashion designer in Cameroon sell to a customer in Ghana, or platforms that make cross-border payments, logistics, or market access simpler.
Why it matters: The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is meant to connect African markets into one big trading zone. But many small businesses still struggle to actually use it, because of the technical, logistical, and digital barriers in the way. This Challenge is looking for the innovators who can help close that gap.
If you or someone you know is building (or has an idea for) a digital solution that could help African businesses trade more easily across borders, this is worth applying to.
