The United States launched military strikes in Nigeria against Islamic State insurgents, whom President Trump has accused of slaughtering Christians.
U.S. missiles struck insurgents in two ISIS camps in northwestern Nigeria’s Sokoto State, according to a U.S. military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The operation was done in coordination with the Nigerian military, the official said.
