🏢 Location: Remote in Nigeria
💰 Compensation: ₦1,100,000–₦1,600,000/month
As Lafiya scales, reliable data is essential to understanding our impact and making better decisions. We're looking for a pragmatic, hands-on Data Engineer to build and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that turn field data into clean, reliable, analysis-ready information.
🌟 What you'll do: Build and maintain ETL pipelines, model data for analysis, support the MEL team with dashboards, maintain database performance and reliability, and ensure data governance and privacy.
✍ Experience: Around 3–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related role, with a track record of building and operating data pipelines end to end. Strong SQL (ideally PostgreSQL), Python, data modelling, ETL fundamentals, cloud database management, and Git are mandatory. GCP experience is strongly preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or quantitative discipline is strongly preferred.
