Role: Backend Developer (2 new members)
Budget: ₦500k–₦700k

We are looking for a Backend Developer to build and scale the core infrastructure that powers transactions, wallet operations, integrations, and settlement. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about security, performance, and clean system design.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
-4+ years experience in backend development (Node.js and PHP specifically)
-Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
-Experience building financial or transaction-heavy systems is a strong advantage.
-Solid understanding of security, authentication, encryption, and data integrity.
-Comfortable with cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows (Docker, CI/CD; Kubernetes is a plus).
-Strong API design, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

-Design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs for crypto-to-fiat flows.
-Implement secure authentication, encryption, and transaction-level safeguards.
-Build and maintain systems for wallets, balances, settlements, and reconciliation.

-Scale backend infrastructure to handle growing transaction volume.
-Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
-Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to ship production-ready features.
-Document APIs, system architecture, and critical workflows.
