African startups are invited to apply for the Innovate for Impact Challenge, which invites forward-thinking entrepreneurs from around the globe to present breakthrough technologies aimed at revolutionising agriculture.
Run by the World Food Prize Foundation, the Innovate for Impact Challenge is open to early-stage, for-profit startups in the agri-tech space. Startups will be evaluated on their impact, market potential, sustainability contribution, and ability to scale.
First place will win US$50,000, second place US$10,000, and third place US$5,000, while all finalists will gain global exposure by presenting their solutions at the 2025 Borlaug Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, which anticipates a gathering of over 1,500 food and agricultural leaders from more than 70 countries.
There will also be opportunities to engage with investors, industry experts, fellow entrepreneurs, policymakers and potential partners from around the world.
Applications are open here until April 15.
