ABUJA, Nigeria – September 27, 2026 – AfriWallStreet, Africa's leading people, business, and investment community, today announced a strategic partnership with BlaqSport, the Pan-African sports media and storytelling platform, to launch an initiative titled "Realizing the African Sports Narrative."

The partnership is aimed at reclaiming and amplifying the authentic African sports story – ensuring that the narrative, data, and economic value of African sports are owned and driven by Africans.

For decades, African athletic talent has powered global sports, while the storytelling and commercial benefits have largely existed outside the continent. This alliance seeks to close that gap.

A Partnership Built on Community and Storytelling

The collaboration will focus on three strategic pillars:

1. Narrative Ownership & Content: Co-production of premium content – including documentaries, original series, data-driven editorials, and the flagship BlaqSport Podcast Network – that will present and represent African sports through globally tested best practice methodologies.

2. Business, Investment & Commerce: Leveraging AfriWallStreet’s ecosystem as the home of professionals and businesses to connect athletes, federations, and sports entrepreneurs to markets, finance, mentorship, sponsorships, and credible networks. The AfriWallStreet Store will serve as an official marketplace for licensed sports merchandise and brands.

3. Talent to Marketplace Infrastructure: Building a community-driven pipeline that links grassroots talent to professional opportunities, investors, and fans, ensuring career elevation and economic retention within Africa.

“AfriWallStreet was founded out of a clear need to address the barriers young African entrepreneurs and professionals face – limited access to markets, finance, and credible networks,” said Igwe Nnanna Otu, Founder of AfriWallStreet. “AfriWallStreet Store is more than an online shop; it’s a movement to position African businesses on the global stage. Our partnership with BlaqSport extends that movement into sports. We are creating more than a platform – we are building a movement where people, ideas, and businesses meet to thrive, and where African sports finally owns its own narrative.”

#### Rollout Plan
The partnership will officially roll out in Q4 2026 with:

• The Realized Narrative Summit: A sports business and media conference to be held in Abuja.

 • Original Content Slate: Joint launch of a documentary and podcast series spotlighting African leagues and emerging talents.

 • AfriWallStreet Sports Desk: A dedicated community hub for sports professionals, businesses, and investment opportunities within the AfriWallStreet platform.
