Applications are now open for the Female Founders & Funders (FFF) Program, an initiative designed to support women building technology-enabled startups in Lagos.
The program is delivered by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund through its Lagos Innovates platform in partnership with AfriGloCal Venture Capital.
The initiative targets women entrepreneurs seeking mentorship, funding opportunities, and investor connections to strengthen and scale their ventures.
It also aims to increase the number of women participating in startup investment by supporting aspiring female investors through a dedicated learning track.
The program will run for six weeks and will include a series of masterclasses and advisory sessions covering business modelling, product-led growth, startup finance, legal frameworks, ESG strategy, artificial intelligence integration, and investment readiness.
In addition to mentorship, founders will receive support to improve their pitch decks and investor engagement strategies.
The program also connects participants with venture capital firms, angel investors, and corporate partners within the technology ecosystem.
At the end of the program, selected startups will present their solutions during an Investor Showcase where they will pitch to a curated audience of investors and ecosystem stakeholders.
Since its launch, the Female Founders & Funders program has supported more than 33 female founders, trained over 24 aspiring female investors, and awarded more than ₦9 million in prizes to participating startups.
The program is open to female founders or co-founders building innovative startups in Lagos State. Applicants should have a working product or a minimum viable product and be solving a clear market problem.
Startups operating in sectors such as fintech, healthtech, edtech, agritech, climate tech, and artificial intelligence are encouraged to apply.
Applications will close on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Women entrepreneurs building technology solutions in Lagos can submit their applications through the Lagos Innovates portal.
