Atlas, an AI-led platform for accounting firms, has raised $6 million in a seed funding round co-led by Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners.

The proceeds will be used to expand its AI platform, grow its network of partner accounting firms in North America, and scale go-to-market efforts.

Founded in 2025 by Arpit Maheshwari and Jagmal Singh, Atlas builds AI-native tools for independent accounting firms to automate workflows across delivery and administrative operations.

The platform follows a human-in-the-loop approach, using AI to assist accountants in execution while enabling them to focus on higher-value tasks. Its system has demonstrated efficiency gains of over 5x in targeted workflows.

Atlas is targeting independent accounting firms, particularly in North America, where the industry is facing a shortage of skilled professionals.

The company plans to expand its partner network and deepen product capabilities across accounting workflows.
