Peeko, a babycare quick commerce platform that delivers baby and kids-care essentials within 60 minutes, has raised Rs 67.4 crore (over $7 million) in a Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and angel investors.

Prior to this, the Bengaluru-based startup had secured $3.2 million in a funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from angel investors including Maninder Gulati, V3 Ventures co-founder Arjun Vaidya, and others in August last year.

The proceeds will be used to invest in technology aimed at building a broader “parenting partner” proposition alongside its commerce business, Peeko said in a press release.

Founded last year by Chetan Sharma, Abhijit Gairola, and Vivek Khetan, Peeko operates a vertical quick commerce platform focused on baby and kids-care essentials. The platform offers apparel, diapers, toys, and baby food, along with try-and-buy and instant return options.

Peeko claims it has grown nearly two-fold every quarter over the past six months. More than one lakh parents have shopped on the platform since its launch. The startup currently operates three dark stores in Bengaluru, covering around 55% of the city. It plans to expand to six stores by the end of 2026 before entering two more cities next year.

According to Peeko, it has expanded its assortment from around 6,000 SKUs at launch to 27,000-30,000 SKUs across apparel and accessories, toys and learning, baby gear, and consumables. Its average order value stands at around Rs 1,000, with apparel, toys, and baby gear accounting for a significant share of its business.

Vertical quick commerce platforms are emerging in the baby and kids-care segment, with startups offering specialised assortments and faster delivery.

Qzi is another player in the space, offering more than 15,000 products for children. The startup recently raised $6.2 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global, following its earlier $3.3 million seed round.
