Egyptian prop-tech startup Byit has expanded into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and launched a new suite of AI-powered real estate solutions.
Founded in 2022 by Antoine Azer, Byit leverages AI to streamline the broking process, enabling agents to better match clients with relevant properties through data-driven insights and personalised recommendations. The startup operates an agent-first broking model, offering freelance brokers up to 90 per cent of developers’ commission. It has a rapidly growing network of over 40,000 freelance brokers, access to more than 450 developer partners, and over 1,000 mapped projects.
Byit has now expanded into the UAE, where it has established Byit Ventures to connect Egyptian property supply with GCC-based investors. The move follows a US$1.1 million funding round secured late last year, and is expected to unlock new revenue streams for brokers and facilitate the flow of foreign investment into Egypt’s real estate market.
SetThe company aims to expand even further across the Gulf, with Saudi Arabia identified as its next target market. In addition to the expansion, it has also launched a new suite of AI-powered solutions, designed to empower real estate brokers and enable more efficient cross-border property transactions. “Our expansion into the UAE marks a key milestone in Byit’s regional journey. We are building more than just a platform; we are enabling brokers to operate across borders with greater efficiency, transparency, and access to international demand. With AI at the core of our technology, we are redefining how real estate transactions are executed in the region,” said Antoine Azer, founder of Byit.
