Hipliz AI is a no-code tool that allows businesses to automate customer support.
The idea for Hipliz AI didn't come from a boardroom. It came from watching a trader trying to run her business from a phone that wouldn't stop buzzing.
She sold fabric. Every day, the same question: "How much is this?" "Do you deliver to Kumasi?" "Is this still available?" She'd answer the same thing twenty times before lunch. By afternoon, she'd missed three real orders because they got buried.
That's the moment it clicked. The problem wasn't that she lacked customers. The problem was that her tools didn't match her reality.
We talk a lot about the digital divide — internet access, hardware, infrastructure. But there's a quieter gap: the tooling divide. It's the space between what technology can do and what small businesses can use.
Big companies have IT departments. They have support teams. They have developers on call. A market trader has a phone and sheer willpower.
AI could close that gap. But most AI tools are built for people who already speak the language — APIs, integrations, workflows. If you need a developer to set up your "no-code" solution, it's not really no-code.
Hipliz AI works like this: you point it at your website, upload a document, or type in what your assistant should know. It learns. You give it a name, a color, a logo, and a welcome message. You share it.
That's it. No developer. No code. Live in minutes.
The goal is simple: move the barrier of coding to five minutes of typing.
As AI adoption grows across Africa, many small businesses still face barriers to accessing and implementing these technologies. Hipliz AI is built to make AI-powered customer support more accessible, particularly to businesses that lack the resources to develop custom solutions.
Every feature is tested against one question: Can a bakery owner set this up between customers?
If the answer is no, he rebuilds it.That constraint shapes everything — the wizard, the free tier, the language support, the image understanding. It's not about having the most features. It's about being the tool that gets used.
The mission isn't complicated. It's just this: make AI useful for the people who need it most — and make it easy enough that they use it.
You don’t need Hipliz AI to start fixing this. Whatever tool you use, these four steps make customer support easier to automate — and easier to hand in:
1. Write down your ten most-asked questions.
Scroll back through your WhatsApp or DM history. Prices, delivery areas, opening hours, payment methods — the same handful of questions usually make up most of your messages.
2. Put the answers in one place.
A single document with clear, current answers is what any assistant, human or AI, needs to work on. If your prices change often, date the document so you know when to update it.
3. Decide where a human takes over.
Pick the situations an assistant shouldn’t handle alone — complaints, custom orders, large payments — and give customers a phone number or WhatsApp link for those.
4. Review what it couldn’t answer.
Every question that goes unanswered is a gap in your information. Check weekly, add the answer, and it won’t miss it twice.
Hipliz AI is built around these same four steps: a knowledge source, a handover contact, simple instructions, and a lot of unanswered questions. But the habit matters more than the tool.
The mission isn’t complicated. It’s just this: make AI useful for the people who need it most — and make it easy enough that they use it.If you run a small business and want to try it, Hipliz AI is free to start at hiplizai.com.

He began exploring technology in 2020 at the age of 18, while in SHS. Although he later studied BSc. Information Technology Education at the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (USTED), much of Emmanuel’s practical technology knowledge was developed independently through personal research, online learning, experimentation, and hands-on projects.
Today, as a solo founder, Emmanuel continues to build Hipliz Technologies with a simple goal: to create practical technology that makes a real difference for everyday users.
