Ghanaian startup Wingxtra has joined FasterCapital’s EquityPilot programme to help it scale its cargo drone service.

Wingxtra builds high‑payload, GPS‑navigated delivery drones capable of carrying up to 10kg of cargo with redundant navigation and safety systems. The company’s zero‑emission platform targets congested urban corridors and time‑sensitive healthcare deliveries, and operates on a subscription model with optional expedited services.

Early pilots demonstrated reliable performance and strong operational economics for both grocery and emergency medical use cases.

Wingxtra has now been selected for the EquityPilot programme run by FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator dedicated to co-funding and co-founding innovative startups, which will focus in the first 30–60 days on refining its operational playbook, strengthening regulatory compliance documentation, and beginning integration work with targeted B2B customers.

FasterCapital and its mentors will support go‑to‑market materials, test protocols, and investor readiness. The initial phase focuses on measurable milestones: expanded pilot routes, improved fleet telemetry, and subscription pricing validation.

“We’re excited to support Wingxtra through EquityPilot. Our team will focus on execution milestones and connecting the startup with the right ecosystem stakeholders,” said Hesham Zreik, founder and CEO of FasterCapital.
