AI powered patient safety startup Graph AI has raised $13.3 million in its Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.

The latest round comes nearly a year after the startup raised its seed round in October 2025.

Graph AI will use the fresh capital to expand its presence across the US and Europe and accelerate product development.

Founded in 2024, Graph AI develops Graph Safety, an AI powered platform that automates workflows for pharmacovigilance and patient safety teams in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

The platform combines AI with deterministic controls, validation layers, and end to end audit trails to help pharma companies manage safety operations while maintaining traceability and human oversight.

Graph Safety automates processes involved in handling adverse event reports and safety cases. According to the company, its live deployments have reduced case processing turnaround times from more than three hours to under 10 minutes, a reduction of over 90%. The platform has also helped lower operating costs by up to 66%, it claimed.

The startup currently offers two modules, Intake, which captures and triages adverse event reports, and Nucleus, an intelligent safety database that automates case processing. Its third module, Report, focused on automated aggregate reporting, is scheduled to launch this month.

Graph AI said it has onboarded pharmaceutical and biotech customers across North America and other markets. The startup is also working with customers on upcoming products, including Signal, which is designed to identify emerging safety signals and patterns across cases.
