Moroccan super app ORA Technologies has extended its Series A round of funding to US$10 million after raising an additional US$2 million from local investors.

Founded in 2023 by Omar Alami, the ORA app offers multiple features, including P2P transactions, an e-commerce platform, on-demand services, chat functionality, and social networking.

Disrupt Africa reported last July ORA had raised a Series A round of funding, led by Azur Innovation Fund and joined by three strategic local investors, and it has now topped that up to US$10 million with extra capital from further local investors.

The funding will support the expansion of its KOUL food delivery platform and ORA Cash digital wallet, which enables e-commerce and contactless payments, across Morocco.
