Tech news and research platform Disrupt Africa has launched “Disrupt Intelligence”, which offers corporates and VC looking to engage – or further engage – with the African tech market access to signals, founder intelligence, sector research and selective scouting support.
Launched in 2014 by Tom Jackson and Gabriella Mulligan, Disrupt Africa is one of Africa’s most recognisable technology ecosystem media brands. The platform combines startup news, funding intelligence, ecosystem commentary, research publications, podcast content, and a proprietary database of more than 3,000 African technology ventures.
“African technology markets remain attractive, but fragmented, unevenly documented, and difficult for external organisations to read accurately. Investors, DFIs, accelerators, corporates and ecosystem builders need credible signals before committing capital, partnership resources, programme budgets, or market-entry effort,” Disrupt Africa co-founder Tom Jackson said.
Enter Disrupt Africa Intelligence, which helps organisations make better African tech ecosystem decisions through trusted market signals, founder intelligence, sector research, and selective scouting support. The recommended starting point is a 90-day pilot designed to prove value quickly before any longer-term retainer, research mandate, or partnership.
