Semiconductor startup HrdWyr has secured $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and existing investor Persistent Systems.
The proceeds will be used to accelerate development of its AI-native System-on-Chip (AISoC) products and expand customer engagements across global markets.
Founded by Ramamurthy Sivakumar, HrdWyr builds AI-native semiconductor chips designed for edge computing and physical AI applications.
HrdWyr develops purpose-built chips for sectors including consumer electronics, EVs, industrial systems, and data centres. Its chips are designed to deliver low-latency processing and improved power efficiency for AI workloads at the edge.
The startup operates as a fabless semiconductor company and focuses on integrating AI capabilities directly into chip architecture to enable real-time processing and autonomous decision-making on devices.
The company recently partnered with audio and wearable brand boAt as part of its customer expansion efforts.
