Zyon Tech Academy says it has opened applications for its 2026 technology internship programme aimed at equipping aspiring professionals with practical digital skills.
The academy, in a statement dated March 1, said the programme is designed to help participants gain hands-on experience and build real-world capabilities required in Nigeria’s growing digital economy and the global technology industry.
According to the organisers, interns will be placed in collaborative project teams where they will work on practical assignments across several technology tracks, including artificial intelligence (AI), frontend and backend development, product design (UI/UX), cybersecurity, blockchain, and Web3.
“Bridging the gap between what people learn in school and what the industry needs is essential for career growth,” said Peace Peter, registration administrator at Zyon Tech Academy.
“This programme gives university graduates, career switchers, and self-taught developers a clear pathway to gain experience, mentorship, and the skills needed to succeed in technology.”
The academy also said applicants will undergo a review process assessing their skills, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work on live projects.
Selected candidates, the organisation said, will be assigned to teams based on their preferred track and capabilities, where they will work on real-world projects and build professional portfolios.
“All participants who complete the programme will receive an official Zyon Tech Academy Internship Certificate, and top performers may also be considered for future employment or partnership opportunities,” the academy said.
It also said the programme is open to students, graduates, and self-taught developers, noting that applications are free.
The Abuja-based organisation said it maintains an equal opportunity policy and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
