African startups working at the intersection of food, technology and sustainability are invited to apply for the 2026 edition of the FoodTech 500.
Run by Forward Fooding and inspired by the Fortune 500, the FoodTech 500 bills itself as the world’s first definitive list of global entrepreneurial talent in the food-tech space. The list ranks international startups and scaleups using a unique methodology that assesses their business size, digital footprint and sustainability practices.
The opportunity is global, meaning African companies are eligible to apply alongside peers from all other regions. It is open to businesses at all stages, from early-stage startups to more established scaleups.
To qualify, applicants must meet three baseline requirements: they must be incorporated, have an active website, and be less than 15 years old.
Applications are open here until November 15.
