Female startup founders from Africa are invited to apply for the Cartier Women’s Initiative, which aims to empower women impact entrepreneurs and offers prize money of up to US$100,000.

Founded in 2016, the Cartier Women’s Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship programme open to women-run and women-owned businesses from any country and sector that aim to have a strong and sustainable social or environmental impact.

Selected ventures take part in a fellowship programme that features communications and media training workshops, the in-person INSEAD Women’s Impact Entrepreneurship Programme, training in specific business areas, and executive leadership coaching by The Women’s Impact Alliance.

Each first place awardee will get a US$100,000, while second-place awardees get US$60,000 and third-place US$30,000.

Applications are open here until June 16.
