Bengaluru-based building materials quick commerce startup Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in a seed funding round from Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen its technology platform and scale operations ahead of its commercial launch on September 1. It will begin operations in Bengaluru before expanding to other cities.
Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is building an AI-powered quick commerce platform for building materials. The platform enables contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers and homeowners to order products such as plywood, paint, electricals, lighting, hardware and plumbing supplies, with deliveries in as little as 30 minutes.
The startup operates an AI-powered supply network that fulfils orders through a network of local dark stores, matching real-time inventory, proximity and demand.
Before launching Fixxly, Bhojani co-founded home interiors startup DesignCafe, which merged with HomeLane in 2024. His cofounder, Sachith Varma, previously led supply chain design at Zepto and managed last-mile operations at Flipkart.
