Egyptian payment orchestration startup MoneyHash has partnered with Saudi fintech Geidea, giving businesses on its platform access to Geidea’s payment gateway across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Founded in 2021 by Nader Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid, MoneyHash has developed a proprietary payment orchestration platform and end-to-end payment operating system. After a successful beta launch in 2022, attracting key players in the region such as Foodics, Rain, and Tamatem, the startup launched its enterprise suite last October, targeting large enterprises.

The startup, which secured US$5.2 million in pre-Series A funding early last year, has been expanding its international operations recently, with key partnerships agreed in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Bahrain and Oman.

Through this latest partnership, merchants using MoneyHash can tap Geidea’s online gateway and supported payment methods through their existing MoneyHash integration, without building or maintaining a separate connection. MoneyHash offers a single API that lets businesses connect to multiple payment gateways, with smart routing, multi-currency processing and a unified dashboard. “Businesses should be spending their time building great products, serving customers, and growing into new markets, not repeatedly rebuilding and maintaining payment infrastructure,” said Nader Abdelrazik, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of MoneyHash.

“Bringing Geidea’s strong regional payment capabilities into the MoneyHash ecosystem gives businesses a simpler way to access the infrastructure they need while we take care of the complexity behind the scenes.”
