Satellite RF intelligence startup Xovian Aerospace has raised $2 million in a strategic investment round led by Ashish Kacholia.
The Bengaluru-based company had previously raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Piper Serica and TurboStart, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Eaglewings Ventures in August last year.
The fresh capital will be used for satellite development, expansion of its engineering and AI teams, and strengthening commercial partnerships, the company said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2019 by Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma, Xovian Aerospace is building AI-powered RF satellite infrastructure. Its platform captures and analyzes radio frequency signals from space to generate real-time, actionable intelligence.
The company enables predictive insights across sectors such as climate, defense, aviation, maritime, and infrastructure. Unlike conventional satellite systems that rely on optical data, its RF-based approach can detect obscured or covert activity by decoding dynamic signals into decision-ready intelligence.
Amid rising climate volatility and geopolitical risks, Xovian Aerospace aims to address the limitations of existing satellite systems by leveraging the underutilized RF spectrum. Its platform combines GEOINT and SIGINT to deliver real-time situational awareness, asset monitoring, and predictive insights for governments, enterprises, and humanitarian organizations.
Other startups operating in this space include OrbitAid, InspeCity, and Sisir Radar.
