AI coding startup Cursor is nearing new funding in which the four-year-old company would raise at least $2 billion in fresh capital, according to four sources familiar with the matter.

Stripe announced that this latest secondary transaction now values the company at $159 billion. Investors buying the shares include Thrive Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, and Stripe itself.

The new round comes seven months after Standard Nuclear emerged from “stealth” with $42 million in funding.
